The Homebody’s Workout Plan: Beachbody On Demand

I was about 14 years old when I started doing at-home workouts. I saw an infomercial for The FIRM and convinced my dad to help me buy it!

Soon, my dad started buying cheap VHS tapes that he found at second-hand stores, like Leslie Sansone’s “Walk Away The Pounds” fitness program and Billy Blanks’ “Tae Bo”. I would complete one of the workouts in our living room either before or after school.

My love for at-home workouts continued past high school.

When I needed to lose weight in 2010, it was only natural that Insanity with Shaun T would catch my attention. I heard great things about the program and decided to give it a shot.

Shaun T yelled, motivated, and helped me lose 47 pounds! Insanity was the first workout program that I tried from Beachbody, and it certainly was not the last.

Fast forward 7 years, and I decided to try a new Beachbody fitness program. At this time, I was introduced to Beachbody On Demand which provides unlimited access to all the Beachbody workout programs.

From the comfort of my living room, I can login to my Team Beachbody account and choose from over 500+ workouts!

Reasons why I always renew my Beachbody membership:

1. My virtual gym is open whenever I am ready for a sweat session.

I get to exercise on my own schedule. I don’t have to wait for the gym to open, and I can still follow the workout plan while away on vacation.

2. The workout plan is created for me.

The science and research to determine the best combination of exercises is already done by someone else. The Beachbody fitness programs are structured to get the best results. I don’t have to hire an expensive personal trainer to tell me what exercises to do and when to do them.

3. I save a ton of money.

The Beachbody On Demand annual subscription costs $99 per year, and you can opt-out of renewing the next year. That’s about $8.25 per month which is less than my $29.95 gym membership.
