5 Effective At-Home Workout Videos

Why not put your smartphone or tablet to good use and kick start your fitness journey with online workouts? If you’re looking for workouts that you can do at home, check out these effective at-home workouts that I’ve tried and recommend.

When going to the gym is not an option, at-home workouts are a solid alternative. Millions of people are exercising from the comfort of their own home thanks to video workout.

Koya Webb

Koya Webb’s channel is an interesting find for people curious about yoga. My favorite video is “Yoga for Mental Health [and Anxiety]”, in which Koya teaches three Yoga practices to reduce stress and mental distress. My favorite aspect of Koya’s channel is her ability to teach the novice. She has a gift and patience to break down techniques and poses for newbies like myself. POPSUGAR Fitness

POPSUGAR Fitness brings celebrity trainers right to your living room. What I like most about the POPSUGAR Fitness channel is the variety of videos. There’s cardio, strength training, dance, dumbbell routines, and no equipment needed options. My absolute favorite routines are those led by Jeanette Jenkins. Tom Merrick

Other than yoga videos, I had a difficult time finding a stretch video that met my needs. That is, until I stumbled across Tom. I suffer from recurring plantar fasciitis, and Tom’s “Stretch Routine for Runners” has been a saving grace. View “15 Minute Runners Flexibility Routine (FOLLOW ALONG)“.

Fitness Blender

Fitness Blender provided my first experience with HIIT workouts. Daniel and Kelli, the creators, provide over 600 videos of content for viewers. Fitness Blender also offers free workout challenges, pilates, 10 minutes or less workouts, kettlebell routines, and tabata workouts. Beachbody

When I reminisce about being in the “best shape of my life”, my mind always remembers Shaun T’s Insanity. Shaun T kicked me into to shape in a few weeks! My current obsession is Beachbody On Demand. Beachbody On Demand allows subscribers to explore unlimited access to best-selling fitness programs, including Transform:20 with Shaun T, 21 Day Fix, LIIFT4, and more.
